Rona crystal glassworks

The Ron glassworks was founded in 1892 by Jozef Schreiber as an investment of the Vienna company Schreiber & Neffen. The name of Ron derives from the then town's name, near which the steelworks was built.

From the very beginning, the specialty of the glassworks was glasses and table sets for home and gastronomy. The glass produced was characterized by high quality and unique ornamentation. Huta quickly developed a brand and began to supply renowned hotels and hotels in Europe - including the Sacher Hotel in Vienna. In 1897, as one of the first glassworks in Europe, she started using a pantograph glass decorating machine.

Throughout the existence of the steel mill, a lot of emphasis is placed on the composition and on the quality of the glass. It is a high quality lead-free crystal glass, whose optical and visual properties make a big impression.

The Ron Glassworks specializes in the production of glass products such as glasses, glasses, sets with carafe and vases. Its range includes both products from automatic production as well as hand-made.
