Crystal BOHEMIA

The BOHEMIA glassworks was established in 1876 in the small town of Podebrady in the north of the Czech Republic. Its initial production is mainly lampshades for oil lamps, inkers, bottles, beer mugs and table glass.

In 1927, a very important moment occurred in the development of the factory - the production of crystal glass began. Thanks to this, the brand gained on quality and its popularity grew rapidly.

At the end of the 1940s, the steelworks underwent modernization and automatic production was introduced.

The production of 18% crystal glass was replaced by a better mixture that contained 24% PbO.

The flagship collections of products from the Crystal BOHEMIA glassworks are: Brixton , Time Square , Sheffield , Vibes , Zig Zag.
