Crystalex Bohemia

The beginning of the history of the Crystalex Bohemia glassworks dates back to the 19th century, when the glass industry blossomed in the Czech Republic. In the east, at the foot of the Beskids, Moravska Glassworks in Karolinka was established, and small glassworks and glass workshops were established in the north of the Czech Republic, which continued the rich local tradition of glass production.

After 1945, the nationalization of the glass industry took place in the Czech Republic and a huge state-owned enterprise called Borske Sklo was established. In 1974, the name was changed to Crystalex (used today).

The Crystalex glassworks is today the largest and most popular Czech producer of crystal glass marked with the brand - Crystalex Bohemia.

It is famous for the production of wine glasses (Angela, Grace, Claudia, Vintage, Turbulence) whiskey glasses (Barline, Ideal), vases and table glass.
