Kvetna Bohemia

Kvetna Bohemia is a traditional Czech glassworks whose history is more than 200 years old. Its beginning dates back to 1794, then in southern Moravia, in areas rich in good quality quartz sand, the prince of Lichtenstein built a glassworks. Table glass was mainly produced there, such as glasses, glasses, carafes, but also utility glass and lamps.

At the end of the 19th century, the local name of the village was used as the name of the steelworks - Kvetna. The then owner, promoting the Kvetna brand, made it famous on world markets and the company opened its stores in London, Paris, Berlin and Hamburg. In 1897 Kvetna Bohemia, as the second in Europe, introduces glass decoration by matting.

After 1945, the glassworks was a state-owned enterprise, and in the years 1990-2002 it was a part of Crystal Novy Bor (now Crystalex Bohemia).

The new period in the history of the Kvetna Bohemia glassworks began in 2004 when it gained a new investor and its development began.

Currently, it is part of the Crystalite Bohemia group.

Today, the Moravian Glass Factory Kvetna Bohemia? is a producer of the highest quality crystal products, specialized in manual blowing of glass and in decorating glass. Many collections are by designers known in the world. They are characterized by an original and unique shape, precise workmanship and attract attention with their beauty.

The most well-known collections include Jessie, Ermitage, Ema, and Donna.
